Reminder: Changes to CHPC user onboarding (CHPC Portal) are coming soon

As announced in the March newsletter, an upcoming release of the CHPC Portal, portal.chpc.utah.edu, will include features related to user and group management. Notably,

• CHPC PIs and their approved delegates will be able to invite, manage, and remove researchers from their groups in the CHPC Portal
• Requests for CHPC PI status, or new CHPC groups, will be submitted through the CHPC Portal
• CHPC resource requests, such as requests for virtual machines and storage, are gradually being moved away from informal email/ticket exchanges and toward structured forms in the CHPC Portal
