Allocation required on Granite cluster

Since January 1, usage of the general CPU nodes and GPUs on the new Granite cluster has required allocation. A change from our past practice is that GPUs require a separate allocation request. The currently allocated winter quarter lasts through the end of March 2025. Allocation requests for the spring quarter are due on March 1, 2025. Quick allocation for the winter quarter can be requested if you need access to GPU nodes on Granite or CPU nodes on Granite and Notchpeak.
