
Complete: Downtime of all CHPC-managed systems on December 16 and 17
All systems managed by the Center for High Performance Computing were taken offline on December 16 and 17, 2025. This downtime was necessary to replace core network infrastructure. It affected all systems and resources, including clusters (redwood, granite, notchpeak, kingspeak, and lonepeak), standalone servers, virtual machines (VMs), and storage. We brought systems online starting on December 17 as the network replacement and related system administration work was completed.
